Default Sound stutter/popping in GW

Doesn't happen in other MMO's or other games

But in GW I get stuttering sound/popping sound.

- Tried various headsets & speakers, same thing

- Tried various drivers for my soundcard, same thing

- Tried playing in Windowed Mode and in Full Screen, same thing

- Turned the various audio levels on/off ingame, same thing

things I haven't tried but doubt will help are;

- Changing the audio hardware excelleration in DirectX/Sound card properties (doubt it'll help)

- Buying a new sound card (just dropped $50 on the game...)

I searched and saw at least another thread with the same problem. I'm also using a generic onboard sound card which has worked fine for every other game, even games where I get abismal frames per second like Doom 3 or Half Life 2 (both barely run for me but hey..)

I can live with the low frames, the stuttering/popping sound is a bitch though

im useing onboard sound and im haveing zero problems with sound. my mobo is a (Asus)K8V SE Deluxe. if you have tried other sound drivers and tried adjusting your audio acceleration in your DX sound properties and nothing helped, i would check to see if your mobo has newer drivers available. if that doesnt work try flashing the bios on your mobo. if that doesnt work i would try a different sound card, or try useing onboard sound if your mobo supports it.

you guys need to list your system spec's, it helps if we know what kind of hardware your running.
